| Day 1 London -
Paris (2 nights) |
| First we drive to Dover for our Channel crossing to France.
Then we visit the Vimy Ridge Memorial en route to the
glittering capital city of Paris, where we enjoy a Welcome Drink with our Tour Director and fellow

| Day 2 Paris
sightseeing & at leisure |
| Morning sightseeing with a local guide includes a drive
along the Champs Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe and on to
the Eiffel Tower, to ascend to the second level. Next we
have views of Notre Dame Cathedral and then we are free to
explore this enchanting city further or perhaps to take an
excursion to the vast Louvre Museum to see the enigmatic
Mona Lisa. (Buffet breakfast) |
| Day 3 Paris -
Lucerne |
An early start today as we drive
through the Burgundy vineyards, seeing the Castle of
Châteauneuf. We continue past the remains of the Maginot
Line at Belfort to reach the Swiss border at Basel and on to
the lakeside resort of Lucerne where orientation shows us
the wooden Chapel Bridge and the poignant Lion Monument.
After dinner, perhaps take a walk along the
lakeshore. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

| Day 4 Lucerne -
Venice (Mestre) |
| The St.
Gotthard highway takes us past Alpine peaks and on to the
Italian border at Chiasso. We glimpse Lake Como and skirt
around Milan before continuing to the magical city of
Venice. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

| Day 5 Venice (Mestre)

| Our
guided walking tour shows us the Cathedral, the Baptistery,
Giotto’s Belltower, Signoria Square and visits Santa Croce
church. Then time to shop for leather and This morning our
canal cruise takes us to St. Mark’s Square where we see the
Bridge of Sighs and the Doge’s Palace. We see a glass-blowing demonstration and have time to explore
before driving across the Apennines to the Renaissance city

| Day 6 Florence -
Rome (2 nights) |
| A Our
guided walking tour shows us the cathedral, the baptistery,
Giotto’s Bell tower, Signoria Square and visits Santa Croce
Church, where so many great Italians are buried including
Michelangelo. Then time to shop for leather and gold, but
also our Tour Director shows us a Hidden Treasure before we travel on to the ‘Eternal City’, Rome. (Buffet

| Day 7 Rome
sightseeing and leisure |
| Today on our guided sightseeing tour we visit St. Peter’s
Basilica in the Vatican where we see the famous Pieta by
Michelangelo. Then we cross the Tiber to ancient Rome where
we overlook the Forum and see the mighty Colosseum and the
Circus Maximus where the chariot races took place. Tonight
we enjoy a Farewell Dinner together with our Tour
Director and new-found friends. (Buffet breakfast / Farewell

| Day 8 Depart Rome |
| ‘Buon viaggio’ as our memorable tour of Europe comes to an
end. Airport transfers are available, conditions
