Day 1    London - Amsterdam
Greetings from your Tour Director! We cross the English Channel to Calais then on to Amsterdam via Belgium. Tonight, we enjoy a Welcome Drink with our fellow travellers before a canal boat cruise.      Hotel: Mercure aan de Amstel
Day 2    Amsterdam - Rhine Cruise - Rhineland

This morning we head for Germany and Cologne. Later we enjoy a Rhine cruise before reaching our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)     

Hotel: Holiday Inn City Centre

Day 3   Rhineland  - Heidelberg - Munich - Innsbruck

First to Heidelberg to view its castle. Then to Munich where we see the Marienplatz and Olympic Stadium. Then on to Innsbruck. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)    

Hotel: Grauer Bar

Day 4  Innsbruck - Venice (Mestre) (2 nights)
Orientation features the Golden Roof and Wilten Basilica. Then across the Brenner Pass into Italy to Venice via Verona. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 5    Venice sightseeing & at leisure
We cruise to St. Mark's Square to see the Bridge of Sighs and Doge’s Palace. Our Tour Director shows us a Hidden Treasure and we see how glass is made. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 6   Venice (Mestre) - Vienna (2 nights)
Back to the mainland and the Austrian Lake District. Then across the Styrian Alps en route to the musical city of Vienna. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 7   Vienna sightseeing & at leisure
Sightseeing shows us the Opera, Parliament, the Imperial Boulevards, the Hofburg and Stadtpark. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 8    Vienna - Budapest (2 nights)
We cross the Hungarian border stopping at Györ. On through the vineyards of Transdanubia to Budapest. (Buffet breakfast)     Hotel: Ramada Plaza
Day 9   Budapest sightseeing & at leisure
Sightseeing features the Great Synagogue and the Fishermen's Bastion. Tonight, we enjoy a traditional Hungarian Highlight Dinner with music. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)
Day 10    Budapest - Sibiu

Across the Great Hungarian Plain, Szeged, into Romania. Then via Arrad through the Transylvanian Alps to Sibiu for the night. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 11    Sibiu - Bucharest

Sibiu orientation, then to Bucharest where sightseeing shows us the Metropolitan Cathedral, Triumphal Arch and Opera. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 12   Bucharest - Sofia (2 nights)
We cross the River Danube and enter Bulgaria where we soon reach the capital, Sofia. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)     Hotel: Hilton    
Day 13   Sofia sightseeing & at leisure
Orientation includes the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Later free time, to explore. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 14    Sofia - Kalambaka

We follow the valley of the River Struma into Greece. Later we enjoy fine views of the Plains of Thessaly en route to Kalambaka. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 15    Kalambaka - Athens (4 nights)
First we see the site of the Battle of Thermopylae, then on to the Oracle at Delphi, before arriving in Athens. (Buffet breakfast)     Hotel: Divani Caravel
Day 16, 17 & 18    Athens at leisure
Three full days at leisure or take a three-day Aegean Islands cruise (Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast)
Day 19    Athens - At Sea
First a guided tour of the Acropolis, then we cross the impressive Corinth Canal and continue on to Patras for our ferry to Italy. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 20    Bari - Pompeii - Sorrento
We head west for the Bay of Naples, where we take a guided walking tour of the extensive excavations of Pompeii. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)    Hotel: Parco del Sole
Day 21    Sorrento (Sant Agnello) - Isle of Carpi - Rome (3 nights)
We cruise to Capri where we enjoy a guided walking tour before continuing to Rome, the Eternal City. (Buffet breakfast) Hotel: Grand Tiberio
Day 22 & 23   Rome sightseeing & at leisure
Sightseeing includes a guided visit of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Colosseum. The rest of the time is at leisure. (Buffet breakfast / Buffet breakfast)
Day 24    Rome - Florence - Montecatini

Our Florence guide shows us the Duomo, Signoria Square, Santa Croce and a Hidden Treasure, then on to Montecatini. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 25    Montecatini - Pisa - Nice (2 nights) - Monte Carlo Excursion

First the Leaning Tower of Pisa before driving to Nice, with a visit to Monaco and a Highlight Dinner tonight. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Day 26    Nice - Cote d'Azur Excursion
We visit fashionable Cannes, famous for its film festival, and a local perfumery. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 27    Nice - Engelberg (2 nights)
We head north through Italy to Switzerland and the ski resort of Engelberg near Lake Lucerne. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)     Hotel: Europe
Day 28    Lucerne orientation & at leisure
We see the Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge, then free time to shop for watches and chocolate or ascend a mountain peak! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 29    Engelberg - Paris (2 nights)
We return to France, passing the Burgundy vineyards, and arrive in Paris. (Buffet breakfast)    Hotel: Pullman Paris Bercy
Day 30    Paris sightseeing & at leisure
We ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower, drive along the Champs Élysées and see Notre Dame. Later we enjoy a Farewell Dinner to say ‘au revoir’! (Buffet breakfast / Farewell dinner)
Day 31    Paris - London
We see the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy Ridge en route to Calais to board our ferry to Dover. Then by coach back to London. (Buffet breakfast)
