| First Class Tour - Europe & Britain |
| |
| Important thing to know before you go! |
 |
| |
| |
| PASSPORT
& VISAS : |
| Each passenger is responsible for all visas, permits,
necessary health requirements, and any other documents required by laws.
regulations and orders of the countries visited. All passengers travelling
in Europe required a passport, valid for 6 months beyond the conclusion of
their trip, and will appropriate visas. Some of our tours enter a country
more than once, therefore multiple-entry visas may be required for some
countries. Please contact your Travel Agent, Airline or applicable
Government authorities to get necessary travel information. The Operators
and/or their employees and their agents are not responsible for passport,
visa requirement, entry, health or other requirements of the countries
visited or for any loss sustained by you for failing to comply with laws,
regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. |
| |
| TRAVEL DOCUMENT : |
| We will send you your travel documents and
literature together with a stylish document wallet about three weeks
before your departure. Please read them carefully as they contain
vital information. |
| |
| TOUR RECOMFIRMATION : |
| Like most airlines, Trafalgar request that if your tour
starts in London, you call to reconfirm your tour departure information at
least 24 hours prior to the start of your tour. Our London Departure
Centre team will also ask you for a contact number, if we need to reach
you for any last-minute changes. The Departure Centre's phone number in
London is 020 7828 4388. |
| |
| HOLIDAYS & CHANGES : |
| During local or national holidays abroad, facilities such
as museum, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited. In such
instances, and whenever possible, Trafalgar Tours makes slight itinerary
adjustments to minimize inconvenience to our guests. If, however, your
enjoyment might be just diminished by such minor limitations, please check
with the respective national tourist office before selecting a departure.
Holidays, closing days and other circumstances may change the day of the
week for scheduled "dining out", gala dinners, sightseeing or other
activities. |
| |
| ELECTRICITY : |
| |
| Electrical adaptors are needed if you wish to take long
electrical appliances such as a hair dryer or electronic razor. Most hotel
in Europe supply 220 volts. Check with your local electronic store or
department store to purchase the right adaptors for such appliances. |
| |
| PLAN YOUR BUDGET : |
| You are advised to do this well in advance and be sure to
allocate funds for special events whilst on tour, such as theatre,
celebration meals, shopping and side trips, and especially Additional
Optional Tours. |
| |
| LONDON ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES : |
| It is essential to allow at least one day before and
after your tour if you are joining your Trafalgar tour in London. See page
79 for London hotels. |
