Day 1
Arrive Cairo |
Trafalgar meets you on arrival at Cairo Airport and
transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at
leisure.

Day 2 Cairo sightseeing |
On our guided tour we visit the Egyptian Museum, home of
King Tutankhamun’s priceless treasure, discovered by Howard
Carter in the Valley of the Kings in 1922. Then we proceed
to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great
Pyramids at Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops and
we see their inscrutable guardian, the enigmatic Sphinx!

Day 3
Aswan - Nile Cruise (3 nights) |
|
This morning we are transferred to
Cairo Airport to board our flight to Aswan. We visit the
High Dam and we travel by motorboat to the temple of Isis,
rising from the waters of the Nile on the island of Philae.
At noon we board our Nile cruise ship in time for lunch. In
the afternoon we sail in a traditional Nile ‘felucca’ around
Aswan’s Botanical Gardens and view the Aga Khan
Mausoleum. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Day 4 Nile Cruise
: Kom-Ombo - Edfu |
This morning is at leisure or maybe join the optional
excursion to the mighty Sun Temple of Abu Simbel, flanked by
four giant statues of Ramses II. The temple was reclaimed
from the dam and reconstructed in its present location. In
the afternoon we sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple
dedicated to the Crocodile God, Sobek, and then on to Edfu. (Breakfast
/ Lunch / Dinner)

Day 5 Nile Cruise
: Edfu - Luxor |
This
morning we visit Egypt’s best preserved cult temple at Edfu,
dedicated to the the falcon god, Horus. We cruise on to
Luxor where we visit the ancient Temple which dominates the
town.(Brerakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Day 6
Disembark - Luxor - Cairo |
We
disembark from our cruise ship and we visit the
extraordinary Valley of the Kings, where the New Kingdom
pharaohs were buried in dramatically shafted tombs built
into the hillsides. Then on to the breathtaking Deir el-Bahri,
Queen Hatshepsut’s impressive temple, the Colossus of Memnon
on the West Bank and the gigantic temple complex at Karnak
on the East Bank before flying back to Cairo. (Breakfast)

Day 7 Cairo
- Alexandria |
We
drive through the desert to Alexandria, making a stop at the
Coptic Monasteries at Wadi El Natrun (if open). The city of
Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great in 322 BC at
the point where the Nile meets the Mediterranean, and is
reputed to have been the birthplace of Cleopatra. It was the
most important cultural centre of Egypt in ancient times but
declined after Cairo became the capital of Egypt in 969 AD.
Today Alexandria is Egypt’s leading port and a most
important industrial centre, but still has a reputation as a
cultural centre and has a beautiful seafront area known as
the Corniche. This evening we will enjoy the views as we
dine in a local restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean
Sea. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)

Day 8
Alexandria sightseeing - Cairo |
Our
guided tour shows us the white marble Roman Amphitheatre,
Pompy’s Pillar, the Kom Elshokafa Catacomb, the National
Museum and El Morsi Abu El Abbas Mosque. Later we drive back
to Cairo. (Buffet Breakfast)

We
transfer you to the airport for your return flight to the

In order to
ensure a smooth and hassle free trip, we would like to seek your
kind attention to take special notice of the following important

- Passengers' name in the booking must be spelt exactly in the
same manner as stated in the passenger's passports.
- Passports should still have a minimum of 6 months validity
upon completion of the journey.
- It is the passenger's responsibility to obtain all Entry Visa
or Transit Visa that are required to enter the country of
destination or stopovers.
- Transit Visas must be duly obtained if the plane's flight path
involved a Transit or Stopover in another country like for
example, a Transit in Australia whilst en route to New Zealand or
a stopover in the United States whilst en route to Canada.
- Passengers are advised to check carefully for any errors or
omissions in the booking details, flight itineraries, air tickets,
and hotel vouchers IMMEDIATELY upon receiving them. Please take
note you may encounter significant inconveniences and may even
have your travel plans aborted if errors are discovered only
enroute or upon check-in at the Changi Airport.
