London - Salisbury - Bath |
| Greetings from our Tour Director as we travel to see the
ancient monoliths of Stonehenge. In Salisbury we view the
cathedral which has the tallest spire in England, before
continuing on to the city of Bath, which is renowned for its

| Day 2
Bath - Wells - Plymouth (2 nights) |
| Today we drive to nearby Cheddar Gorge to admire its rugged
beauty. Then a stop at Wells, with its awe-inspiring
cathedral. We continue our journey through Thomas Hardy's
Wessex to Exeter, the county town of Devon, founded by the

| Day 3 Devon
and Cornwell Excursion |
| A full day excursion begins as we skirt Dartmoor to reach
Plymouth where you will have the chance to take a boat trip
around the harbour. Then we continue to Marazion where we
see St. Michael’s Mount before heading north to the Atlantic
coast of Cornwall and the artists’ colony of St. Ives. After
an amazing, scenic day we return to our hotel in Exeter for
dinner and overnight stay. (Full breakfast / Dinner) |
| Day 4 Exeter -
Cardiff |
| We drive through the beautiful county of Somerset, renowned
for its rough cider known as scrumpy, and on to the port of
Bristol to see the impressive suspension bridge designed by
Brunel. Finally we cross the Severn Bridge into Wales and
soon arrive at our hotel in Cardiff.(Full breakfast /

| Day 5 Cardiff -
Waterford |
| Orientation of the capital of Wales shows us the castle, the
Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Arms Park. Next we drive to
Fishguard where we board our ferry across the Irish Sea to
Rosslare. From here we head by coach to Waterford, home of
the famous crystal, and our hotel. (Full breakfast /

| Day 6 Waterford -
Cork - Waterville |
| After breakfast we drive via Cork, stopping to visit Blarney
Castle with a chance to acquire the 'gift of the gab'. From
here we travel into County Kerry and down Dingle Bay to
Waterville where we start to enjoy the stunning scenery of
the famous Ring of Kerry drive. (Full breakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Waterville Lake |
| Day 7 Waterville
- Limerick |
| A succession of mountains, bays and pretty towns brings us
to the lakes of Killarney before we stop in Killarney
itself. On to Limerick, where orientation shows us St.
Mary's Cathedral and King John's Castle. Then to Ennis for

Dublin (2 nights) |
| Today we make our way to Nenagh in County Tipperary with its
ruined castle, former home of the Butler family. We then
travel via County Kildare, renowned for its stud farms, to

| Day 9 Dublin

| Our morning sightseeing tour features views of Trinity
College, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Phoenix Park and the
impressive Four Courts. The rest of your day is free. (Full

| Day 10 Dublin -
Chester area (Runcorn) |
| We take the ferry to Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey. Enjoy
the scenery of the North Wales coastline as we skirt
Snowdonia National Park. We stop in Chester to admire its
famous galleried Rows and medieval buildings before reaching

| Today we drive through the beautiful Lake District, which
inspired the great poet William Wordsworth. Then we cross
the Scottish border and continue to Falkirk. (Full

| Day 12 Edinburgh

| Our tour shows us Princes Street, the Royal Mile and views
of the castle. Then time to perhaps visit Holyrood House.
This evening you have the option of a night out with
Highland dancing and bagpipes. (full breakfast) |
| Day 13 Edinburgh
(Falkirk) - Highlands |
| We travel to St. Andrews, home of the famous golf course and
the university which Prince William attended recently. We
drive on via Pitlochry into the Highlands. (Full breakfast /

| Day 14 Newtonmore
- Glasgow |
| We drive via Inverness and along the shores of Loch Ness
passing Ben Nevis. Then on via Glencoe on to Loch Lomond's
bonnie banks before reaching our hotel near Glasgow. (Full

| Day 15 Glasgow -
York - Leeds |
| We see Glasgow cathedral and George Square. Then we enjoy a
scenic drive to Moffat Woollens, make a picture stop at
Hadrian's Wall, before arriving in York to see the Minster
and the Shambles. We continue to nearby Leeds. (Full

| Day 16 Leeds -
Coventry - Stratford-upon-Avon - London |
| We drive through the Midlands to Coventry to view the old
and new cathedrals. Then on to Shakespeare's birthplace,
Stratford-upon-Avon, with time to explore or shop. Next we
travel through the pretty Cotswold countryside as we make
our way back to London where it is time to bid farewell to
our new-found friends and Tour Director at the end of our
