Day 1     Arrive Frankfurt 
Welcome to Frankfurt! This afternoon we take an orientation tour which shows us the Romerplatz and opera house. Later, at a welcome meeting, get to know your fellow travellers and Tour Director. (Dinner)                     Hotel: Mercure Neu Isenburg
Day 2     Frankfurt  - Prague (2 nights)
We leave Frankfurt and travel east making a stop at the fairytale city of Nuremberg. There's time to stroll through the medieval streets and the many squares. We drive to the Czech border and via Pilsen, famous for its beer, to the beautiful city of Prague where we spend two nights. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)                                           Hotel: Ibis Praha Old Town
Day 3   Prague sightseeing & at leisure
On our morning sightseeing tour we will see Prague Castle, the Cathedral of St. Vitus and the old town square. Later, with time on your own, why not shop for bargains in glass and porcelain or enjoy a lunch cruise on the Vltava River (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 4    Prague - Vienna (Voesendrf)
We travel via Tabor to the Austrian border and on to Vienna. On our arrival a guided tour shows us the splendours of this city including the Opera House, the Parliament, the Hofburg and the City Hall. Tonight, why not enjoy a Strauss concert (Buffet breakfast)                    Hotel: Eventhotel Pyramide
Day 5    Vienna (Voesendrf) - Budapest (2 nights)
Time this morning to perhaps take an optional excursion to visit Schönbrunn Palace. Or you may want to browse in the shops along Vienna’s famous Kärntner-strasse. Later on today, we will continue our journey through Transdanubia, making a stop in Roman-founded Györ, before continuing to the twin cities of Buda and Pest for two nights. Buffet breakfast)                                 Hotel: Budapest
Day 6    Budapest sightseeing & at leisure
Our guided sightseeing tour features the Fishermen's Bastion, Heroes' Square, the Church of St. Matthias and we enjoy a panoramic view of the city from Gellert Hill before free time to maybe take a trip to the charming village of Szentendre. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 7   Budapest - Zagreb
Today we head past countryside brimming with storks and their nests towards the shores of one of Europe's largest and most romantic lakes, Lake Balaton. Then we make our way to Nagykanizsa and the border with Croatia. Soon we are in Zagreb, the Croatian capital, where sightseeing includes the lower and upper town, and shows us the majestic cathedral, St. Mark's Church and the opera house. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)                          Hotel: Four Points by Sheraton
Day 8   Zagreb - Ljubljana
After breakfast we begin today's journey, which brings us to beautiful Slovenia and its capital, Ljubljana. Here our guided sightseeing tour highlights the opera house, cathedral, National Museum, castle and the numerous parks of this Roman-founded city. Tonight we will enjoy a Slovenian dinner at our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)                      Hotel: M
Day 9   Ljubljana - Venice (Monastier) (2 nights)
This morning with time at leisure why not take this opportunity to join an optional excursion to the famous Postojna Caves, a labyrinth of tunnels and gorges Or you may wish to simply spend more time in Slovenia's charming capital before we head out this afternoon for the Italian border near Trieste. Finally, we now arrive in the magical city of Venice where we will be staying for two nights. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)                                Hotel: Park Hotel Villa Fiorita
Day 10  Venice sightseeing & at leisure
On our included cruise along the canals by vaporetto to St. Mark's Square we see the Bridge of Sighs and Doge’s Palace before visiting a glass-blowing workshop. Afterwards, enjoy time on your own perhaps to take a trip to see some of the islands in the Venetian lagoon! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 11   Venice (Monastier) - Lucerne
We drive along the Veneto plain and head towards Milan. Here we turn north to drive through the Italian Lake District and then into Switzerland at Chiasso. Soon we are crossing Lake Lugano, the Gotthard range of mountains, and arrive in picturesque Lucerne. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)                   Hotel: Central
Day 12    Lucerne - Munich (2 nights)
Our first stop today is in Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein. We continue to the Austrian border at Feldkirch and drive through the Arlberg range before arriving at mountain-ringed Innsbruck. Here an orientation shows us the Golden Roof in the old town. We drive on into German Bavaria on our way to the fun-loving capital city Munich! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)                          Hotel: Holiday Inn Munich South
Day 13    Munich orientation & at leisure
Orientation of Germany's secret capital shows us the Hofbräuhaus, Marienplatz and Glockenspiel. Then there is time to enjoy on your own, perhaps to explore the city further. Or why not take an excursion into the countryside to one of Mad King Ludwig's extravagant castles and to the Passion Play village of Oberammergau (Buffet breakfast)
Day 14    Depart Munich
'Auf Wiedersehen' as our memorable tour comes to an end. (Buffet breakfast)
