Welcome to Rome, the Eternal City! The city stands on the
Tiber river and enjoys a long and celebrated history. Relax after your journey. Later, meet your Travel Director
and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception. Then an orientation drive will show you the Tiber and St. Peter's Basilica -
a perfect introduction to the sights which await you!

Rome Sightseeing - Montecatini (

Your expert Local Guide takes you on a guided sightseeing tour starting at the Vatican City.
Visit St. Peter's Basilica and then enjoy a small group sightseeing visit inside the Sistine Chapel. Cross the Tiber River and see the Forum,
centre of daily life in ancient Rome. View the Colosseum − the largest built in the Roman Empire − where public events and gladiatorial contests were held.
Later, enjoy a spectacular scenic drive through the Tuscan Hills to the spa resort of Montecatini, your home for the next six nights!

San Gimignano and Siena
Excursion |
Explore San Gimignano known as the ‘medieval Manhattan’,
famed for its ring of towers which can be seen several kilometers from town. Shop for locally produced delicacies and hand-painted Tuscan pottery.
Later, in Siena, see the Piazza del Campo, scene of the celebrated annual Palio horse race, and the stunning marble Cathedral which dominates the town.

6 Florence Excursion |
Your expert Local Guide gives you a fascinating account of the history of Renaissance
Florence during your walking tour. See the magnificent Duomo and Piazza Signoria. View the Ponte Vecchio bridge, one of the city's most famous landmarks.
Experience a delicious Highlight Lunch in a local restaurant and then return to Montecatini for a relaxing afternoon.
