Day 1    Arrive Rome ( 2 nights )
Welcome to Rome! After  check-in to your hotel, time to relax and unwind. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Drink with your Tour Director and fellow travellers.

Day 2    Rome sightseeing & at leisure
Today's sightseeing, with a local guide, includes a visit to St. Peter's Basilica. Then cross the River Tiber where you overlook the Forum and see the mighty Colosseum and the Circus Maximus. Then time at leisure to relax or explore. ( BB )
Day 3    Rome - Venice

This morning on your scenic journey northwards, enjoy views of the hilltop towns of Orte and Orvieto before entering Tuscany. Here see the Chianti vineyards and the terraced olive groves before crossing through the forested Apennine hills. Passing Bologna and reach the flat Veneto plains and your hotel. ( BB D )                      Hotel: B4 Venezia - Mestre ( F )
Day 4    Venice sightseeing - Milan
This morning your canal cruise takes you to St. Mark’s Square where you see the renowned Bridge of Sighs. Later watch a glass - blowing demonstration given by a local artisan.  Milan is the final destination today where you will see the impressive Cathedral and the Galleria. ( BB / D )               Hotel: Novotel Milano Nord Ca Granda ( F )
Day 5    Milan - Lucerne
Today  take the scenic Gotthard route into Switzerland and on to Lucerne. On arrival see the poignant Lion Monument and the wooden Chapel Bridge. Then perhaps take a mountain excursion and later indulge in some Swiss shopping.

Day 6    Lucerne - Paris (2 nights)
Travel north today and cross into  France. Pass the fortified town of Belfort, stop to view the extensive vineyards at Savigny-Lès-Beaune, and drive through rich farmland before reaching Paris. ( BB )

Day 7    Paris sightseeing & at leisure
Your guided tour includes views of Notre Dame, the Champs Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe. Then  ascend the Eiffel Tower to the second level for panpramic views. Later, after free time, enjoy a Farewell Dinner tonight. ( BB / FD )
Day 8    Paris - London
This morning drive north to Calais, where we board the Channel ferry for Dover, then on by coach to London. Here  bid farewell to our Tour Director and fellow travellers.        ( BB )
