Itinerary
- Day 1 -
Christchurch -
Omarama
After a city tour travel to Lake Tekapo. Enjoy a scenic flight (optional) over the Southern Alps before travelliing to Omarama.
- Day 2 - Omarama - Dunedin
Pass hydro Lakes as you travel to Dunedin. Arrive early and enjoy free time. Tonight a Scottish evening will be presented.
- Day 3 - Dunedin - Te Anau
Visit historic Olveston House. and then cross rich farmlands to Lake Manapouri, travelling onto Lake Te Anau.
- Day 4 - Te Anau - Milford Sound - Queenstown
Drive to Milford Sound for a fiord cruise. See Bowen Falls and Mitre Peak as you enjoy a picnic lunch. Return to Queenstown. Tonight enjoy a dinner at Skyline Restaurant, where dining and views are unsurpassed.
- Day 5 - Queenstown
A full day for optional activities such as jet boating, golfing or fishing.
- Day 6 - Queenstown - Fox Glacier
Travel via Wanaka and Makarora to the West Coast and on to Fox Glacier. Time is available for an optional guided walk to the glacier face.
- Day 7 - Fox Glacier - Greymouth - Christchurch
Time for an optional helicopter ride over the glaciers, then onto Franz Josef. Travel to Hokitika and visit a Greenstone factory. Board the TranzAlpine train and travel to Christchurch, one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. Your tour concludes on arrival.
