Day 01
- Arrival in Auckland
On arrival in Auckland you will be met
& transferred to your
hotel. Stay one night in Auckland.
- Day 02 -
Auckland - Waitomo Caves - Rotorua
* Dinner
Travel south to Waitomo
to tour the Glowworm Caves. Continue to thermal Rotorua, steeped in Maori culture. A Maori hangi and concert is included. Stay two nights in Rotorua.
- Day 03 -
In Rotorua
This morning your tour includes a visit to an active thermal area, farm show and trout springs. The afternoon is free.
- Day 04 -
Rotorua - Wellington
Continue south via Lake Taupo and past
the National Pack volcanoes and rugged coastline to our capital city. Stay two nights in Wellington.
- Day 05 -
In Wellington
A free day for
optional tours or sightseeing. Make sure you visit our National Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa, or try the Gourmet Wine Tour in the Wairarapa.
- Day 06 -
Wellington - Napier
Travel along the Kapiti Coast, then through the
Manawatu
Gorge to Napier*. An afternoon vineyard tour is included. Stay one night in Napier.
- Day 07 -
Naiper - Auckland
Continue across the Rangitikei Plains to
Taupo, then north via Lake Karapiro and Hamilton. Stay one night in Auckland.
- Day 08 -
Departure from Auckland
Free time until your are transferred to your flight.
* Family Friendly option - A Napier sightseeing tour will replace
the vineyard tour.
