Tourmasters Term & Conditions
 
Availability
All arrangements are strictly subject to availability at the time of booking. Due to peak seasonal demands between October and April each year, early booking is advised.
 
Costs
All costs are in New Zealand dollars Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in all prices at 12.5% (subject to government charge) Meals are NOT included except as indicated in the itineraries.
 
Deposit
A 10% deposit is required to confirm the booking. Payment of the deposit will indicate an acceptance of our terms and conditions by the purchaser and / or passenger.
 
Cancellation fees
7 or more days before departure - loss of deposit. Within 10 days of Departure - 50% of the tour cost. No refund will be given within 24 hours of travel date. If you cancel, then each case will be considered on its own merits, as it will be dependent on charges made by the individual suppliers and operators. Setting up your tour is complicated, as is cancelling the arrangement.
 
Amendments
All tours may be extended or amended, provided that these arrangements are made more than 10 days prior to departure. After a booking has been confirmed, one amendment is permitted free of charge. Further amendments will incur a fee of NZ$50 per change of file. Once travel documents have been prepared (approx 10 before travel), any amendments will incur appropriate fees for our services and in accordance with the policies of our supplies.
 
Insurance
We strongly recommend the purchase of adequate insurance, which can cover you for loss of deposits, accidental injury, damaged personal effects, delays and other eventualities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual traveller.
Our planning costs
Included in the tour are our fees for research, travel documentation, printing, marketing and distribution of brochures. Tour costs represent a complete package of arrangements and no itemisation of costs will be rendered.
 
Limitation of Liability
Tourmasters South Pacific (NZ) Ltd do not accept any liability for failure, act or omission on the part of transportation companies, accommodation contractors, sightseeing providers or other principals. Furthermore the responsibility of principals participating in the the programme us limited as specified in their tickets, conditions of contract, conditions of carriage and tariffs. Tourmasters South Pacific (NZ) Ltd and the principals concerned accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in aircraft, ferry or other transport services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or other causes. Any such loss or expense must be borne by the passenger.
 
Children's Fares ( for tours not featuring family pricing )
Children 11 years and under who share a room with two adults, may travel at 50% of the adult rate. Infants not occupying a seat or separate bedding may travel free.
Where one adult and one child are sharing a room, the adult pays the share twin rate and the child pays 80% of that . A second child will pay 50% of the share twin adult rate.
For two adults with two children the adults pay the share twin rate and the children each pay 50% of that.
 
Family Friendly Pricing
Family Friendly pricing is based on the total price for the specified number of people travelling. To qualify for Family Friendly pricing all children must be 12 years or younger.
 
Meals
Meals are not included on most tours. There are meals included (as specified) in tours SM9583, SM9433T, SM383MM, SM943ST and SM979ST. The optional cooked breakfast costs are shown in each tour cost panel.
Hotel Accommodation
The hotels named within the text of each tour are indicative of the type and standard of accommodation which is included (mostly 3 star). As all accommodation is subject to availability, other establishments (of similar cost) may need to be used when the nominated hotel is full booked.
 
Surcharges
Hotel rooms and seats on aircraft, coaches and trains are subject to availability at special rates. If all our allotments are full we will endeavour to secure alternatives at the most favourable rates, however in these circumstances there may have to be an adjustment to the brochure prices. Any surcharges imposed by our transport providers due to fuel increases that are beyond our control will be passed on to the traveller. Your approval will be sought before we confirm services that may incur a surcharge.
 
International travellers
All passengers arriving in New Zealand require a valid passport. Some travellers may also require visas. As this documentation may take some weeks to obtain, please consult your travel agent at an early date. New Zealand has very strict Quarantine regulations. Do not bring any raw food, fruit, plant material or soil with you. There are severe penalties if you do.
 
Tour Bonus
The Tour Bonus is complimentary, additional to the standard tour, and therefore are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
