- Day 2 - Ho Chi Minh City
to Nha Trang Hotel/ ( B )
It’s a free
morning so you could
pick up an option to
visit the Cu Chi
tunnels. This 200km
network of tunnels
were made by the
Viet Cong to
infiltrate
unsuspecting US base
camps. Spend the
afternoon seeing the
landmarks of this
bustling city like
Notre Dame
Cathedral, the
Presidential Palace
and the War Remnants
Museum with history
on The Vietnam War.
Score a bargain in
the Ben Thanh
Markets, selling
everything from
fresh produce to
fabrics, handicrafts
and everything in
between! Then it’s a

- Day 3 - Nha Trang Hotel/ ( B )
Ranked one of the
top beaches in
Vietnam, take the
pace of your trip
down a notch and
enjoy this waterside
resort town while
soaking up the rays
and swimming in the
warm waters. Do your

a mineral mud bath

former trading port
famous for wooden
houses, Chinese
influenced temples
and silk shops; it
is the perfect place
to have clothes
tailor-made at tiny
prices. Get up close
and personal with
the locals by taking
an option to spend a
day working with the
local village
farmers
- Day 6 - Ho An to Hue Hotel/ ( B )
There’s
stunning coastal
views while driving
over the “Pass of
the Ocean Clouds” to
the former Royal
City of Hue. A
dragon boat is your
ride to pagodas
featuring an
eclectic mix of
western and eastern
influences.
Following a visit to
the Royal Tomb and
the older, fortified

- Day 8 - Hanoi to Halong
Bay Overnight

Drive out
from Hanoi to the
spectacular Halong
Bay. Board a
traditional Junk
boat for an
overnight cruise
through the surreal
and breathtaking
landscape of these
World Heritage
listed waters where
over 3,000 limestone
islands rise right

scenery as we cruise
past mountains,

a bamboo row boat to

sunset over Titov

fishing villages

- Day 10 - Hanoi to Sapa Overnight

morning exploring
Hanoi before a late
check out. Pack your
trekking shoes -
you’re off to the
far north near the
Chinese/Vietnamese
border via an
overnight train to
Lao Cai. Continue on
to Sapa
- Day 11 - Hilltribe Trek Guesthouse/ ( B, L, D )
Hiking from
Sapa to the village
of the Black Hmong
tribe, local paths
provide vistas of
terraced paddy
fields, green
valleys and
opportunities to
meet the locals.
After lunch from
local stalls
continue to Muong
Hoa Valley to spend
the night in the
villages’ stilt
houses.
- Day 12 - Sapa to Hanoi Overnight
Train/ ( B, L )
The trek
continues towards
Red Dao village and
Giang Ta Chai
passing stone
carvings at
prehistoric sites.
Take lunch by a
waterfall and trek
back to Sapa town.
Freshen up at a
guesthouse and take
an optional dinner
before jumping
aboard the night
train to Hanoi.
- Day 13 -
Hanoi
There’s an early
morning arrival into
Hanoi where the tour
ends and it’s time
to say farewell to
your Contiki crew.
