Flights To Bandung & Yogyakarta Remain Cancelled

Due to the severity of volcanic ash surrounding Bandung and Yogyakarta, Malaysia Airlines flights to and from these two cities will remain cancelled until the situation improves.

  • The following flights will still continue to be affected:
    *
    Kuala Lumpur – Yogyakarta (MH857) will be cancelled until 15th November 2010.
    * Yogyakarta – Kuala Lumpur (MH856) will be cancelled until 15th November 2010.
    * Kuala Lumpur – Bandung (MH859) will be cancelled on 9th November 2010.
    * Bandung – Kuala Lumpur (MH858) will be cancelled on 9th November 2010.
     

  • Passengers on the affected flights have 3 options:
    * Passengers originally bound for Bandung from Kuala Lumpur will be redirected to Jakarta and shuttled to Bandung via bus.Similarly those departing  
      Bandung will be shuttled to Jakarta via bus.
    * Get a full refund depending on the terms and conditions of the fare type
    * Re-book on the next available flight
