Baggage Allowance
- Piece System Application For Transpacific And Transatlantic Travel On Economy Class On MH Services |

that effective 15 May 2008, the maximum weight of any piece of the free
baggage allowance for transpacific and transatlantic travel on Economy Class
on MH services shall be reduced from 32kg to 23kg. The total of two pieces for passenger remains but the weigh shall be reduced from 32kg to 23kg per piece. For Economy Class, baggage weighing over 23kg (50Ibs) and up to 32kg (70Ibs), you will be charged USD25 or CAD25 per piece for the two pieces. Economy Class will still entitled to check -in two pieces under the free baggage allowance at 23kg (50Ibs) per piece. The revised baggage rule is applicable to all tickets issued on/after 15 May 2008.Any ticket issued prior to 15 May 2008 will not be effected by the revised baggage rules. The free baggage allowance for First Class and Golden Club Class passengers remain unchanged i.e. two pieces of baggage at 32kg (70Ibs) per piece. Other procedures with regard to the piece concept application remain unchanged. |
