BOOKING

TICKETING RESTRICTIONS

Penalties :

Cancellations are permitted before/ after departure for refund.
Waiver for illness of passenger, death of
passenger and death of family member. Penalty is charged at
S$175 per
ticket
- Charges apply to adult, child and infant occupying a seat.
Penalty does not apply to infant without a seat
- Waiver for illness of passenger only applies in the event
of certifiable hospitalisation / death of family member is
as per definition in EK's conditions of carriage
- ( For partly utilised tickets )
If the one way and return trip are in the same RBD, deduct
the applicable one
way fare for the journey travelled, plus S$175 charge / for
all others, deduct 75% of the return fare, plus S$175
charge
- At any time within the ticket validity, the fare can be
upgraded to any higher fare or cabin assessed from the
point of origin at a charge of S$175 per transaction
provided the conditions of the higher fare have been met
and the applicable difference in fare is collected. If the
upgraded ticket is subsequently cancelled the original
penalty will apply
- Reissue fee only waived when upgrading entire itinerary to
a higher cabin fare.; Either from Economy to
Business / First or Business to First
- If the new itinerary results in a lower fare the S$175
reissue fee will apply and no refund will be made
- Before commencement of travel fare must be reassessed if
change to itinerary or travel dates requires reissue
of ticket
- Reissued or revalidation (or rebooking) permitted at any
time by original Issuing Agent or EK offices only
- (Revalidations)
Anytime. Date change by revalidation is permitted at charge
S$175 per transaction within fare

Combinations

- Fares may be combined on a half round trip basis with EK
fares in same rule, same tariff
- A maximum of two international fare components permitted.
Such itineraries are approved for manual
pricing and sale on half round trip basis, provided the
entire journey is on EK.
- Combinations across tariff regions may not auto-price in
some GDS.
- Roundtrip / circle trips are permitted on half roundtrip
basis provided combinations are with any fare in this
rule and any tariff.
- The fare is permitted only with this carrier
- End-on-end combinations permitted
- Travel must be via the point of combination
- Permitted with other airlines fares
- Exception : End-on-end with
EK Arabian Air Pass permitted
- Permitted with IATA add on fares / with same tariff & rule
- The most restrictive conditions apply for the entire
itinarary.

ENTRY VISA
(S) AND TRANSIT VISA (S) REQUIREMENT
In order to ensure a smooth and hassle free trip, we would
like to seek your kind attention to take special notice of
the following important reminders:-

Passengers' name in
the booking must be spelt exactly in the same manner as
stated in the passenger's passports.

Passports should still
have a minimum of 6 months validity upon completion of the
journey.

It is the passenger's
responsibility to obtain all Entry Visa or Transit
Visa that are required to enter the country of destination
or stopovers.

Transit Visas must be
duly obtained if the plane's flight path involved a
Transit or Stopover in another country like for example, a
Transit in Australia whilst en route to New Zealand or a
stopover in the United States whilst en route to Canada.

Passengers are advised
to check carefully for any errors or omissions in the
booking details, flight itineraries, air tickets, and
hotel vouchers IMMEDIATELY upon receiving them. Please
take note you may encounter significant inconveniences and
may even have your travel plans aborted if errors are
discovered only enroute or upon check-in at the Changi
Airport.
